Bihać is the capital of the 689 km2 Una-Sana Canton in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It lies at the junction of fields and mountains Plješevica and Grmeč. In addition to historical attractions, Bihać is an attractive destination due to its favorable climate, warm and dry summers and cold winters and varied terrain. Bihać and its surroundings are rich in springs, streams and rivers. It is most known for its river Una, which flows through the city and the surrounding Una National Park. Visit the gothic-style Fethija mosque that dates back to the 14th century, or take part at the Bihaćko ljeto, a summer festival when the city truly comes alive. Take a walk through this vibrant city, sit at the bank of the Una river or go hunting or fishing. One of the most amazing adventures you could get yourself into is of course the Una Regata (more about this and rafting in general is already in our other dedicated post). All this and much more can be found in the surrounding Bihać city. Our team has been living here for their entire lives, and can provide any info you might need to experience this amazing area.
